Trade, industry and investment cabinet secretary Moses Kuria on 12th July evening resurfaced online with a bold reaction hours after today’s Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition’s mass action demonstrations.
Speaking as relayed by a report covered on kenyans.co.ke, Kuria who is a vocal ally of President William Ruto noted that economic sabotage geared by opposition won’t delay Kenya Kwanza’s government agenda.
“The economic sabotage by the opposition won’t delay our agenda”, Moses Kuria said.
According to Kuria, investors from all over the world are fighting to invest in the country and therefore the reason as to why the country will go forward even if Azimio la Umoja stage demos.
His statement comes off hours after anti-government demonstrators vandalised major government projects as well supermarkets in major towns.
It should be noted that the former prime minister Raila Odinga called off his Kamukunji grounds rally for fear of hired goons who were alleged to cause chaos and attack on Azimio supporters.
Despite doing so, the former premier noted that he will continue to pressurize William Ruto until the day he will agree to meet pleas of kenyans.
