Agriculture Cabinet Secretary (CS) Mithika Linturi availed himself at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters, strategically placed along the expansive Kiambu Road today.
The Cabinet Secretary’s grilling at the DCI headquarters essentially revolved around the fake fertilizer valued at Ksh209.5 Million which was distributed to farmers inhabiting varied local and regional destinations.
After the strategic grilling at the DCI Headquarters that lasted for 7 hours, Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Hon. Mithika Linturi headed to State House, in Nairobi.
The pivotal reason as to why the embattled Cabinet Secretary went to State House was essentially for the National Address which was to be delivered by Head of State His Excellency Dr William Samoei Ruto.
This comes just a day after the National Assembly approved the proposed dismissal from office of the Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mithika Linturi. Parliament further formed an 11-member committee to investigate his impeachment and file a report on their findings within a time span of 10 days.
