Security chief Professor Kithure Kindiki has today revealed who the Kenyan government wil be sending to Haiti next week before deploying 1000 police officers.

According to the information shared by Journalist Gatwiri Njeru, the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration has revealed that the Kenyan government will send another team to Haiti next week to asses the legal and diplomatic status ahead of the police deployment.

Kindiki has revealed the team will be led by Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary and Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi.

This comes at a time when Justice Chacha Mwita had stopped Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki from deploying the police until a case filed by Thirdway Alliance is heard.

Justice Chacha Mwita issued the conservatory orders that the deployment of the police by the Kenyan government be stopped until 24th October when the case will be heard.

The deployment of the 1000 police officers to Haiti has been criticized by the opposition as not a good move.
