President William Ruto today sent the students of Nairobi School into celebrations after he promised to pump millions of money to improve the infrastructure at the institutions.

Speaking today during his visit to the Nairobi School, Westlands Constituency, the president announced that he had ordered the Ministry of Education to set aside Ksh. 100 million to improve the infrastructure at the school.

Ruto revealed that the Ksh. 100 million will be used to complete the building of a Science Laboratory and a Multi-purpose Hall at the school.

Moreover, the president promised to personally look for friends to find the building of 12 classrooms at the school.

Ruto said that apart from the 12 classrooms, his friends and him will also build a dormitory that can accommodate 800 to 1000 students.

“I will look for friends to so that we can complete the 12 classrooms and also do the dormitory. Am told a dormitory is required that can accommodate 800 to 1000 students,” Ruto said.

However, Ruto set a simple condition for building the school administration if he has to build the classrooms and the dormitories.

He said that the administration must first be prepared to accommodate students from all counties across the country for him to deliver on his promises, a move that was instantly welcomed by the school principal.

“But we have to agree that there will be students from all counties across the country in this school,” he said upon approval from the principal.

It was however the president’s promise to personally supervise the construction of the classrooms that left the students, parents and the teachers in wild celebrations.

“I will personally be coming here to supervise the construction. I will be here,” Ruto said sending upon applause from the crowd.
