Congolese prophet CB Motondo has called on Kenyans to respect President William Ruto, emphasizing his role as a leader anointed by God.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, Prophet Motondo condemned the use of the nickname “Kasongo” for the president, describing it as unfair and disrespectful.

“‘Kasongo’ carries connotations that are unbefitting of a leader chosen by God to guide the nation,” the prophet explained. “Mocking your leader with such nicknames undermines not only him but also the sanctity of leadership itself.”

Motondo further urged Kenyans to recognize the challenges that come with leadership and to extend grace as Ruto navigates them.

At the same time, he advised President Ruto to remain attentive to citizens’ frustrations, acknowledging the importance of addressing their grievances.

“No leader can please everyone,” he cautioned. “However, a wise leader listens to the cries of the people and works to meet their needs to the best of their ability.”

The prophet’s remarks come at a time when public discourse around the president’s leadership has intensified.

He called for unity and mutual respect, urging Kenyans to focus on building the nation rather than tearing down its leadership.
