Royal Media Members led by Trevor Ombija, Chemutai Goin and wife to Waihiga Mwaure surprised the former Citizen TV anchor Waihiga Mwaura on live TV while hosting his last show.
Waihiga Mwaure is a known journalist who has featured in our screens many at times. He has however been promoted to work with the BBC Africa.
While hosting his live TV show at Citizen TV on Tuesday, his workmates together with his wife surprised him with a cake and shared fond memories together.
“You are a great person and a fantastic journalist,” Ombija stated as he unveiled the ‘grand’ surprise Waihiga Mwaure on a live TV show.
“I admire you as a leader, as a person, as a human being. You are incredibly talented, and so hard working I see the hours you put in, and I just honour you for it. I thank God for opening this door for you, and I know your light will shine brighter and brighter,” Waihiga Mwaure’s wife applauded him during the surprise ceremony.
