The cold season has been upon us for the better part of the month of June and the older I grow, the more I come to like the cold season.
This coming from a worshipper of the sun if a huge deal. But one of the things that I have made me begin to fall for the cold season is the fashion.
The difference between style and fashion
My personal style incorporates a lot of boots and I really like the fact that June and July really allow me to wear them without the fear of getting them muddy -the third world realities in Kenya include crappy leadership and piss poor infrastructure as a result.

Given that we are speaking about boots, allow me to introduce you to a company that sells some rather sick boots.
I happened upon them thanks to Instagram a couple of years ago -let’s say 2. And back in 2017, I bought a pair of their boots which at first glance most would dismiss as being too pricey but I am here to tell you that quality has a cost.
Besides, any men’s leather boots that you come across whose price is too good to be true is probably pleather.
I digress.
Check out a pair similar to the one I own:
I pair these boots with black jeans (I rock skinny jeans almost exclusively). Up top, I either rock a black jeans jacket with a black shirt or a black henley shirt or when I am going out I rock a black or charcoal grey thermal.
Whaat can I say? My personal style incorporates a lot of black and blue.
Another reason I like the products from this company is that they do not try and sell you some useless schpill about what the company is about.
I like a company that doesn’t try to insult my intelligence with some environmentalist pitch or some corporate social responsibility BS.
The company is Kenyan and it makes good products. What’s not to like? I mean, these are the next boots I am looking to cop:
And so I reiterate, what’s not to like?
I’d probably rock this with either an all-black or blue ensemble. The thing about these boots is that they are pretty versatile so they would allow me to rock blue jeans with multiple different coloured tops.
