Pastor Eliud Ng’ang’a who is also an engineer of Kenya Power has come out to reveal that officers from the DCI tried to raid his home on Thursday. The incident happened in Ruiru and was captured by CCTV cameras.

They officers gained forced entry into his home and tried to apprehend him but their efforts did not bore any fruits as neighbours came out and stopped them. Mr Eliud says that officers got into his compound by jumping over the gate.

He confronted them and when he asked about their identity said they were from the DCI. He asked them to reveal their identification cards but they refused. That is when he got out and faced them and his son followed him. When the son started to record the number plates of the cars one of the officers drew his gun and threatened to shoot him.

The pastor has said that the raid at his home was because of his recent sermon in church where he criticized the Kenya Kwanza government. In his sermon the pastor said that he had lectured the government on their attempts to silence the church when they were trying to address issues related to governance.

The incident happened just a day after president Ruto condemned the abductions and disappearance of people across the country. The DCI is yet to give a response to this allegations.
