Francis Gachuri, the former Citizen TV Political Editor, left his onscreen role to take up a communication position in President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza Government.

Under the direction of Cabinet Secretary Professor Kithure Kindiki, he was named Head of Communications at the Ministry of Interior.

Contrarily, Chemutai Goin departed Citizen TV to accept a new position as Principal Media Relations Officer in Speaker Moses Wetangula’s office of the National Assembly.The journalist has established a career in the media that spans almost ten years.

After beginning her career at KTN as an intern, she worked her way up to positions at Capital FM and Media Max, the company that owns K24 TV, before joining Royal Media Services.

Stephen Letoo, their former coworker, is still employed by Citizen TV as a senior journalist.
