This is a bummer for everyone in the band and crew, to say nothing of the question hanging over everyone’s head – mine included – as to how I tested positive on PCR twice in two months. (The first was extremely mild, but this one’s got the better of me.) We’ll give you everything we’ve got at these upcoming shows, just as soon as we rest up and regroup. Rep. Ocasio-Cortez recently came under fire for vacationing in Florida. She and her boyfriend, Riley Roberts, were photographed hanging together outside while not wearing masks – which abides by the CDC’s safety regulations. Her right-wing, Republican critics called her out for vacationing in Florida while her home state of New York has implemented restrictions due to the surge in COVID-19 cases. They also remarked about her boyfriends’ footwear.
“If Republicans are mad they can’t date me they can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustrations onto my boyfriend’s feet,” she tweeted. “Ya creepy weirdos. It’s starting to get old ignoring the very obvious, strange, and deranged sexual frustrations that underpin the Republican fixation on me, women, & LGBT+ people in general. These people clearly need therapy, won’t do it, and use politics as their outlet instead. It’s really weird.”
