Political tension remains high in the country as fresh details keep coming up. This comes after what has just emerged that CEO Marjan Hussein Marjan has accepted to open the servers for Raila. Marjan said he is ready to open them for scrutiny to verify the past elections that saw Ruto beat Raila. This was stated by Marjan who said this;
“I want to say that the servers are available for forensic audit, yes I confirm, any time, and that they were used to process the exact replica of the physical forms that are available,” he revealed.
However, Governor Cecily Mbarire seems to be not pleased by this decision to open the servers. In reaction to this, she said the following;
“I have heard people say open the server, under what circumstances would you open the server, is there a legal framework allowing that to happen or not,” Cecily Mbarire posed.
There is a lot of push and pull between opening the servers as those in government seem to be scared of the outcome of opening them.
