In 2024, rumours surfaced of trouble in Cebbie and Steve Ogolla’s marriage, and Kenyans inquired about what had happened between them. She deleted all traces of the lawyer’s photos on her social media pages further fuelling the breakup rumours. Cebbie finally announced their separation in a Facebook post. She also revealed that she was ready to date again.
Charles, her new lover had revealed that they were dating during a conversation with blogger Edgar Obare. He shared a touching story with his followers talking of his journey to personal growth.
“My name is Charles Ng’iendo, and my journey is one of resilience, personal growth, and determination. While my story may not be unique—many have faced challenges far greater than mine—I share it in the hope of inspiring others to prioritize their well-being and embrace their inner strength,” he penned. Charles narrated a near-death experience and the end of his 13-year-old relationship which were life-altering events in his life.
“Few years ago, I encountered life-altering events that tested me deeply. A 13-year relationship ended, and I survived a near-death experience that left me in a coma and in the ICU for five weeks. The recovery process was gruelling—I had to relearn almost everything on my own, physically, mentally, and emotionally. At that point, I had only recently earned my first degree,” he added.
The learned man proudly holds a PhD in GenoEconomics || Sociogenomics, MSc. in Epidemiology and Biomedical Data Science, MSc. in INVEST BBA, IBL (Finance, Economics, and BA).The man was thankful for how his life has transformed over the years and his great academic journey. He shared.
“Fast forward four years, and my life has transformed in ways I couldn’t have imagined. I have the academic qualifications in pursuit of improving my productivity and work as a Researcher in GenoEconomics—a fascinating field that merges genetics and economics to uncover how biology and socioeconomic factors shape individual outcomes.
This journey has taught me the immense value of taking care of personal well-being—not just to survive but to thrive. It’s about unlocking potential, even when the odds seem overwhelming.” Charles believed that sharing experiences with others empowers them.
“I also believe in the power of sharing experiences. Sometimes, staying silent isn’t the answer. Speaking up—while respecting the privacy and dignity of others — can not only heal but also inspire and empower those who may be facing their own challenges,” he added.
