Even before the impeachment motion of the deputy president has been tabled in Parliament, Kipipiri member of parliament Wanjiku Muhia has withdrawn from the side that was planning to impeach the deputy president.

According to the legislator, she has reached the decision after consulting with members from her constituency who overwhelmingly asked her to side with the deputy president of the Republic of Kenya.

Reacting to this latest development of former woman representative Cate Waruguru has said that it is indeed great that leaders from Mount Kenya are a slowly beginning to embrace their son who is currently being faced by an impeachment motion.

The members of Parliament are today expected to debate an impeachment motion which has been tableled before parliament and which is expected to give the way forward on the next course of action.

Several Mount Kenya leaders have been on record a saying that they will support the motion despite the deputy president saying that they should protect him.
