Former Radio Citizen presenter Jeridah Andayi has stirred conversations online after a video showed her casually washing a car in the United States.
The clip, which she captioned “Carwash attendant,” featured her in a pink top, black shorts, and with her hair wrapped, engrossed in cleaning the vehicle.
Jeridah, who served the station for nearly two decades, quietly stepped down in late 2024 and relocated abroad with her children.
Her low-profile departure surprised many fans and colleagues, especially given her long-standing role as one of the leading voices at the station.
The recent video has left many Kenyans on social media both curious and concerned. Some admired her humility and adaptability, while others speculated whether she had switched careers or was simply sharing a light moment.
Since leaving Kenya, Jeridah has largely stayed out of the limelight, with only occasional online glimpses of her life abroad. The void she left at Radio Citizen was filled by Tina Ogal, who now hosts the popular Drive Show.
Whether the video reflects a career shift or just a slice of her daily life remains unclear—but one thing is certain: Jeridah Andayi’s journey continues to captivate her fans.
