If you frequently pay a visit to social media sites and especially on Facebook, you might have come across this post which has been published by Caroline De Mathew on her Facebook page while celebrating her late husband’s birthday.
Caroline is the second wife of the late John de Mathew who was a famous Kikuyu secular artist who was referred to as a seer of the Kikuyu community because most of his prophecies have come to pass.
John De Mathew died in the year 2018 after a tragic road accident in Thika. Now his wife has celebrated his birthday with a sorrowful message telling him that she wishes he was alive to give him a gift.
“Today is your birthday but you are not here I could send a gift but I know I can’t, so I will make a wish upon the stars to carry my love to where you are. Happy Birthday in heaven” she wrote.
