Safina party leader Jimmy Wanjigi has today broken his silence a few days after being freed on cash bail by Milimani law courts in Nairobi.

Barely a Month ago, police officers allegedly recovered items which included teargas canisters in a car that was packed outside the gates of the businessman as the officers conducted the raid. Wanjigi has been at loggerheads with the ruling alliance as they accuse him of financing protests.

Wanjigi has issued a stern warning to President William Ruto.On Tuesday afternoon wanjigi addressed the nation. While addressing the nation he breathed fire saying that illegal abductions have become a state of tragedy, violating the right of life of innocent Kenyans who were peacefully demonstrating due to dissatisfaction with the ruling regime led by President William Ruto.

Wanjigi recently listed names of some of the illegally abducted Kenyans and he demanded their release so as to be back to their families.Wanjigi’s message comes weeks after he was released with a personal bond of ten million after spending a night in Kamukunji police station.

Police cordoned off Wanjigi’s residence with yellow tape, used to stop people from interfering with crime scenes. The officers, including those from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), searched the suspicious vehicle, where they discovered police communication gadgets, and grenades, among other items.

Different reliable sources revealed that Wanjigi who has openly criticized the Kenya Kwanza administration was arrested for allegedly possessing firearms illegally. Wanjigi was also been accused of funding the anti-government protests spearheaded by the Gen Z protesters.

The action of President William Ruto admitting that he was not aware of abductions and and does not have the list of missing Kenyans in his nyanza tour angered businessman wanjigi who has swore to Kenyans that William Ruto will be held accountable for his ignorance and crimes.
