As Kenyans are still in mourning, the family of Rwandese coach Kiptum, who perished together with his coach at Kaptagat Forest after a car he was driving lost control and hit a tree, has broken the silence some hours after the autopsy, which was conducted today.
As per the latest updates reaching us this hour, the deceased brother has broken the silence and confirmed that the body of his beloved brother will be taken to Rwanda through the airport. He has also added that they have not yet finished planning for the final burial of Hakizimana. Also, the family has asked the government pathologist who conducted the postmortem not to reveal the reports to the media.
This just came in after Hakizimana and Kelvin Kiptum lost their lives after the car they were traveling in lost control and hit a tree. Also, Kelvin Kiptum’s father has positively identified the three men who arrived at his home before the accident occurred. Also, a lady who survived the accident, who was identified as Sharon, escaped with minor injuries.
May the souls of the deceased continue to rest in peace. It is very unfortunate to lose healthy people in these cases of accidents. All Kenyans are expected to drive safely to minimize accidents in the country.
