The brother of the newly crowned Miss Tanzania 2022 has threatened to take legal action against cyberbullies.
This is after a family picture of the newly crowned Miss Halima was leaked allegedly showing her secret child.
Halima is now being challenged to confess that she has a child which she has kept a secret.
Her big brother Saidi Ahmad Kopwe in an interview defended her saying the alleged child is a son to their sister.
“There are allegations that my little sister has a secret child. It is not true Halima is our youngest sibling. The boy in the picture is the son of our third-born sister Mariam. The boy is called Keisan, Mariam’s child.”
The brother warned against cyberbullying his little sister. He added that he would sue those spreading the rumours.
“Those claiming Halima has a child don’t know what they are talking about. I asked authorities to look into this issue of cyberbullies and rumour mongers. It’s not right to bring such rumours to taint her image. Tutapambana kisheria. I will not allow cyberbullying of my little sister. Tutakutafuta, tutakukamata, and we will prosecute you. Halima walked away with a Mercedes Benz C Class 200.
“Of course, I am excited to be the overall winner but being a representative of Tanzania in the Miss World pageant, I will begin preparations right away in order to put the country on the world stage in the beauty pageant business.”
