Gentle giant Bradley Mtall recently opened up about his past struggles, revealing that his wife left him due to his financial difficulties, even though he always ensured there was enough food at home. In an interview with presenter Olive Kaverenge, the young influencer recalled how he lived with his wife while working as a Kamagera (a bus conductor assistant). Although he was not wealthy, he made sure their household had food.
However, his financial situation did not meet his wife’s expectations, and she ultimately walked out on him. “She left me because I was poor. She believed I would never achieve anything or make progress in life,” Bradley explained.
To make matters worse, his wife was seven months pregnant when she decided to leave. Since then, Bradley has never met her or their child. He remains hopeful that one day, his child will seek him out, saying, “I want to know my father.”
Bradley also addressed the challenges that come with fame, stating that it is not as easy as people assume. He shared how some individuals request help at odd hours, and when he is unable to respond immediately, they accuse him of being arrogant. “Where do you expect someone to get money in the middle of the night?” he asked.
Before his rise to fame, Bradley used to sell groundnuts in Majengo to make ends meet. He later found work as a Kamagera, assisting buses operating on the Nairobi-Western route. However, his life took a turn when he gained popularity, attracting widespread attention. This newfound recognition has opened doors for him, leading to endorsement deals and marketing opportunities that have significantly improved his financial situation.
