Currently happening is that the senior deputy inspector general Ezekiel Mwita, who deputised the inspector General of police japhet Koome, is currently being laid to rest at his rural home.
The the body of the late senior assistant inspector general Ezekiel Mwita has made its way to his rural home this afternoon, where it was received by several family members, including the wife and the children to the late.
Several Top Ranking government officials, including the principles secretary, the Ministry of Interior and National Coordination Raymond Omollo and top police officials, are currently at the event.
The late Ezekiel collapsed at his home and was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead, although the course of his death remains anonymous.
The principal secretary in charge of the interior this week eulogized him as a man who fought to ensure that the service and the embakasi police unit are better.
