Churches should not receive donations from politicians in an attempt to sway elections. Because they received payments to keep them quiet, the bishops performed the best. It is true and biblical that the church needs money, yet a true Christian would refuse to accept money from unclean hands. I’m in favor of Catholic bishops. We will not tolerate corruption, poor leadership, or the theft of public funds for church purposes.
