It is a big blow to Nominated MP Sabina Chege as the High Court in Kiambu now strikes out her petition challenging her removal as the deputy minority whip in the National Assembly consequently allowing Azimio La Umoja -One Kenya Alliance to kick her out of the position.
Sabina Chege had filed the petition seeking the court to block her ouster after the Azimio brigade kicked her out of the seat after aligning with Kenya Kwanza government. Azimio had replaced her with Embakasi West Member of Parliament and one of the remaining loyalties of ex President Uhuru Kenyatta, Mark Muriithi Mwenje.
Jubilee party now is demanding that the Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetangula to ratify the changes and allow Mark Mwenje to take over as the Deputy Minority Whip.
This will be an interesting move considering that Wetangula had refused to grant the Azimio the power to replace Sabina Chege. All eyes will now be on him after the court rulling.
