Entrepreneur Vera Sidika and her singer husband Brown Mauzo are the new parents in town after welcoming a bouncing baby girl on Wednesday.
The couple has since named the baby Princess Asia Brown.
Announcing to her fans, Vera shared various posts on her Instagram page detailing the delivery process.
The couple mentioned that baby Asia was born at exactly 10:21 am on October 20, 2021, at Nairobi Hospital.
“A princess was born. You will always be the miracle that makes our life complete.”
Mauzo also shared a similar photo saying he is happy to welcome a new member into their family.
Earlier on, Vera said she was due in early November.
Vera opted for an elective cesarean delivery (A scheduled surgery for non-medical reasons.)
Elective CS is preferred by some since it gives them more control in deciding when their baby is born. It can also reduce some anxiety of waiting for labour to start.

Through her Instagram, Vera said she wanted her baby born on Mashujaa Day so she can celebrate her birthday with her family.
“I personally chose the date 20th October, so she can be celebrating her birthday from home with family. Since it’s a public holiday,” she wrote.
Vera was ready to foot the bills of a VIP delivery room at a private hospital in Nairobi for her desired C-section delivery.
Explaining her decision, she said she only changed her mind about having children after she realised there are painless options to the journey as she fears going through labour.
After her delivery, Vera shared her opinion on CS delivery.
“Based on my experience so far. During surgery, I felt no pain. It’s been 21 hours after surgery. Still, no pain at all and I can get up, walk around on my own am surprised. Actually, felt so good during surgery. Some kind of High, I was awake, saw and heard everything.”
Vera’s mum, husband and his two brothers were with her during the delivery process.
“My baby is so pretty, smiles a lot too. Just like her mom and dad. My mum is obsessed with her.”

Vera revealed that her baby is Mauzo’s lookalike.

She thanked God for the safe delivery.
“We thank God for the safe delivery of our beautiful healthy baby girl. Asia Brown. God is good. Born on hero’s day. Such a blessing.”
Vera’s Daughter has since garnered over 26k followers on her Instagram page.
