Ben Githae is one of the most popular Kikuyu gospel musicians in Kenya. The man is as well-known for his scandals as he is for the music he produces like his famous song “Tano Tena” which was arguably the most popular Jubilee Party theme song ahead of the 2017 General Election.
The singer recently did a radio interview where he revealed that he has three daughters out of wedlock by different women.

The singer divulged that despite being married and confessing the Christian faith which advocates for faithfulness in marriage, he has another child out of wedlock. “The truth is I have three girls, among them, are twins. It is no secret,” he said.

The singer was exposed for having an extramarital affair by a woman identified as Rose Wanjiru. Wanjiru accused the singer of impregnating, beating and abandoning her with their twins.
She also claimed that the singer had multiple kids with many side chicks that he doesn’t provide for. One thing I like about Githae is that he can admit to the mistakes he made in the past.

He reminds me a lot of his contemporary Victor Kanyari who also faced a bad scandal a few years back where he was exposed for scamming his church members.
The man lost his marriage and a lot of clout after the controversy but has since rebounded back and is doing very well for himself.
