Narok County Senator Hon. Ledama Olekina today sent President William Samoei Ruto and Treasury a message urging them to make sure Kenyans are paid their pensions before they allegedly split the country into two. Ledama claimed that pension schemes are yet to get their payments from both National and county governments.

The Azimio legislator told Ruto and Treasury that Lapfund and Laptrust are owed billions of money by both two levels of the governments. He called on President Ruto to make sure the funds are released to the two schemes managing the pension funds.

In addition, Ledama alleged that Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition party leaders are remaining with only one option. The legislator argued that Kenya must be split into two to allow democracy to prevail.

Ledama’s remarks came days after Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition party leader Rt. Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga revealed that they are already collecting signatures from Kenyans dissatisfied with President William Samoei Ruto’s style of leadership. Raila stated that they will use signatures to petition United Nations for self-determination.

“Before we split the country into two ,can you please ,@TreasuryKe @WilliamsRuto ensure pension schemes are paid their dues by both the national and county governments. Both Lapfund and Laptrust are owed billions by the two levels of government. This will demonstrate that you care about workers.” Ledama said.
