National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula on Saturday broke his silence after the opposition leader Raila Odinga called for nationwide mass action after President William Ruto failed to respond to his numerous demands.
While speaking from Nandi county, the former Bungoma county Senator revealed that the Kenya Kwanza administration will not allow room for mass action in the country. He also added that the main aim of the government is to build the economy.
The third in command also urged President William Samoei Ruto to focus on serving the people of Kenya and ensure that the taxes that are being collected are put to the right use.
He also urged the head of state to work and ensure that the cost of fuel in the country is lowered and also work in ensuring that he creates more employment opportunities for Kenyans.
Moses Wetangula was speaking after attending a church service of SDA in Nandi county. He was accompanied by various leaders including Transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen, Nandi County Senator Samson Cherargei, and Nandi County Governor Stephen Sang among other local leaders.
