Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition party leader Rt. Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga today suffered a huge blow after one of his foot soldiers defected to President William Samoei Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance party. The sudden u-turn by the prominent Azimio legislator happened few hours after Raila Odinga said they will resume their weekly peaceful rallies within Nairobi.
Flanked by his wife and friends, Kevin Kioko Mbuvi dumped Raila’s Azimio political outfit for the ruling party. Kevin Kioko popularly known as Bahati was accompanied by his wife Diana Marua, MC Jessy and musician KRG. Hon. Kioko was received by United Democratic Alliance party’s Secretary General Hon. Cleophas Malala who alleged that UDA is the best party in the whole country.
While addressing the media immediately after defecting to UDA, Hon. Kioko claimed that Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition party has no agenda for the youths. He congratulated President William Samoei Ruto for winning the August presidential elections and vowed to support his government.
