Currently, police officers are busy dealing with several youths who have Stormed different parts of the country. Some youths have been spotted demonstrating in some counties, including Nairobi, Kisumu, Nakuru County, and even Kisii. Father, police officers have been having tough times dispersing them and even arresting some of them.
According to the source, finally, the Azimio la Umoja coalition has issued a new statement concerning some of the leaders who have been arrested by the police since yesterday and earlier today. As per the latest updates reaching us this hour, the names of the politicians who have been arrested include Ken Chonga, who is also Kilifi South MP; Teddy Mwambire, who is also County Assembly Speaker; MCA Wilfred Odallo; MCA Redson Onyango; Dennis Onyango, who is also Azimio spokesperson; and Raila Odinga’s bodyguard, Maurice Ogeta.
Further, it is not clear where the politicians were detained by police officers. Further, the Azimio la Umoja coalition has asked the police officers to release them.
Currently, police officers are still doing their best to disperse residents in different parts of the country.
