After releasing the song G Bag Na Jug, Stoopid Boy became well-known and received millions of views. The Arbantone artist was invited by Dr. Ofweneke to an interview on TV47, but things didn’t work out.
The rapper wanted to be compensated, Ofweneke claimed, and this disclosure caused controversy. Dr. Ofweneke, a comedian and TV host, is furious because fast-rising musician Stoopid Boy called off their planned TV interview.
Speaking after Stoopid Boy backed out of the TV47 interview, Ofweneke stated that the hitmaker for Gbag Na Jug demanded payment. Dr. Ofweneke, who appeared upset, told his studio audience that Stoopid Boy had injured himself by pulling the stunt at the beginning of his career.
“Stoopid Boy wanted to get paid, so he abruptly canceled. Just wait, Stoopid Boy; we’ll pay you. We will keep in mind when you try to promote your third or fourth single and hunt for Ofweneke to do so. We’ll go back,” Dr. Ofweneke stated.
However, attitudes were divided over Stoopid Boy’s action, with many endorsing his demand for payment. The rapper was called out by others, led by Oga Obinna.
