Maina and Kingangi weighed in on the forthcoming school holidays and the fact that parents will in the next ten days have to come up with fees again for another term.
Kingangi told Maina parents aren’t ready and insisted that ‘hatuna’.
Schools are closing this week and students will be on break for ten days. They will resume for the second term on October 11.
This short break has parents concerned because of the demand for full fees to be paid.
Schools will demand the new term fees be paid in full, something that Kingangi finds painful.
He told Maina ‘hakuna mtu ako ready hata fees ya hii term is hard, si wawache tumalize ya hii term?’
Maina told him that complaining isn’t the solution ‘let me ask you when you say i ma not ready what problem does that solve unless you come up with solutions, we are just making noise’
Mwalimu added that ‘kwanza wapunguze aie wamekata term, tuanze officially pole pole tuuu mpaka December hakuna mtu akona na pesa’
Maina reminded him that schools need to run smoothly ‘Can we get a solution. Remember most schools are privately owned, what are you going to tell those businesses?’
Kingangi had a solution ‘wawache kututegemea.. Unajua tume lipa jut the other day, wale wako na more than three children kayamba kwenyu I don’t know how they are survivng, mimi sina’
