Kenyans have once again been left speculating whether Public Service CS Justin B Muturi has been arrested, following reports that journalists who were camped at Kilimani Police Station prior to the CS’s arrival have been locked out.
According to the report by Kenyans.co.ke on January 14, was seen having some chats with senior police officers before being ushered in a VIP room. It remains unclear whether the CS presented himself or, was arrested as this writer cannot verify any side of the story.
When addressing the media on Sunday, January 12, at Sarova Hotel, Muturi stated that little was done to secure his son’s release despite his standing at the time. He served as an Attorney General and a member of the National Security Council.
Hours later, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) responded inviting him to record a statement noting that his son’s case was already on record at DCI Kilimani.
