Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka invited Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition leadership to his Yatta farm in Machakos for a thanksgiving prayer.In what is seen as a 2027 political strategy, Kalonzo has also invited all leaders elected on a Wiper ticket in the region.Kalonzo has always summoned key Ukambani leaders to his Yatta home when making landmark political declarations, including his decision to work with Azimio.

Kalonzo Musyoka, explained the circumstances under which he bought the controversial Yatta Farm in Machakos County.

Kalonzo stated that the dispute around his 2,000-acre farm in Yatta was baseless since he bought the land from its rightful owners.

On August 28, 2021, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations cleared Kalonzo over the Yatta Farm transaction after hours of grilling at the Kiambu Road headquarters.

The Wiper Leader had presented himself after a section of politicians made public accusations that he had illegally acquired the piece of land.

Recently, Kalonzo shared photos showing him interacting with workers while inspecting some of the animals and produce.

One image depicted Kalonzo standing in a maize plantation while looking out in the distance.

Another showed him carrying a huge cabbage grown on the farm and tending to a flock of chickens. Kalonzo admitted that it had been a while since he last spent time at his farm.

The photos caused quite a buzz on social media and elicited many reactions, with many Kenyans inquiring whether he had grown watermelons.
