Jose, a Mzungu man, said that Asulay, a rising singer, had stolen KSh 50,000 and caused damage to his mother’s home.

Jose says he gave Asulay financial support for her music career before they broke up, and he’s offered KSh 25,000 to help find her.

Asulay refuted the claims, claiming Jose had given her the money as a gift and accusing him of harboring resentment following their breakup.

The Mzungu man going by the name Joseā€”not his real nameā€”has accused his ex-girlfriend, Asulay, a budding musician, of robbing him of his money and breaking into his Mombasa home.

Jose stated that he had been financially supporting Asulay’s music career during their relationship prior to their split in an interview with TUKO.co.ke.

What transpired between Mzungu’s former boyfriend and Asulay? Jose claims that he gave Asulay KSh 50,000 to pay the rent and buy traditional clothing for a music video shoot.

But it is said that Asulay withdrew the money and stopped communicating. Jose went on to say that Asulay had been watching his mother’s home in Mombasa, and when he returned, he discovered the house had been looted.

He vented his annoyance, saying the musician, who is 21 years old, had blocked him and been impolite. She was watching my mother’s house.

The money was for rent, food, and traditional costumes for her performances. She conned me out of KSh 50,000 and left my mother’s house in disarray, which is why I’m so angry. She’s fugitive,” Jose clarified.

He also disclosed a communication that he claimed to have received from Asulay, in which she expressed regret and begged for pardon.

Asulay acknowledged in the message that she had lied about her upbringing and having a child, and she added that she felt undeserving of Jose because of her situation.

“I know you can’t forgive me, but I can’t forgive myself for what I did to you. I am not the ideal woman for you, even if you are the greatest man I have ever encountered.

I’m not worthy of you. I knew you wouldn’t want a woman with a child, therefore I never informed you I was a mother. Please accept my apologies,” the note said.

Jose asked the public and the government for assistance in finding Asulay because he was unsure of what legal actions to take. He even promised a prize of KSh 25,000 to anyone who could assist in locating her.

I’ll forgive her, but not before we have a conversation. “Hopefully, the police can help me,” he continued. What was Asulay’s response to the accusations?

Asulay confirmed receiving the KSh 50,000 but refuted any wrongdoing when TUKO.co.ke contacted her. She claimed that her then-boyfriend Jose had given her the money as a gift.

She further claimed that he was spiteful and that he was still upset about their breakup. “No one has been duped by me.

My lover, Jose, sent the money as a present. I dumped him, and now he’s exposing me because he basically used me. The atrocities he made me go through cannot be replaced by money. Asulay retorted, “These foreigners like taking advantage of young girls.”
