Socialite Amber Ray has found herself in the spotlight once again, this time after her ex-boyfriend, Ibrahim Kabba, accused her of being dishonest about a past trip to Tanzania.
Amber recently shared a series of travel photos on Instagram, showcasing the luxurious destinations she has visited. She listed places such as Dubai, Uganda, Turkey, Spain, Cyprus, Mauritius, Zanzibar, and the Netherlands, highlighting her love for international travel.
She specifically mentioned a Valentine’s trip to Arusha, claiming that she and her team stayed at a hotel charging $1,000 per night for bed and breakfast. She added that they travelled with a stylist, photographer, and videographer.
However, Ibrahim Kabba, her ex-lover from Sierra Leone, quickly disputed this claim.
Commenting on her post, Kabba alleged that he was the one who took the picture Amber posted from Tanzania, contradicting her claim of travelling with a photographer.
“That is crazy. Why do you have to lie to the public? That picture in Tanzania—I was the one that took it for you. Why do you have to lie that you travelled with your photographer? Just be real,” he wrote.
Fans had mixed reactions. Some criticised Kabba, calling him a bitter ex, while others urged Amber to be truthful.
In response to ongoing criticism, Amber Ray defended herself, maintaining that she has every right to refer to herself as “Bibi ya Tajiri” and questioned whether her critics truly knew her husband’s financial status.
Her comments sparked further debate, with fans divided over who was telling the truth.
