The Kenyan government issued a strong statement in the evening directed at all Kenyan nationals who reside in prestigious local and regional locations.

The Kenyan government, speaking through Huduma Kenya, has mandated that all Kenyan citizens possess a national identity card and Ksh1,500 in order to be eligible for National Hospital Insurance Fund cover service.

The National Hospital Insurance Fund cover service is available to all Kenyan citizens who meet the above-mentioned eligibility requirements, which include Ksh1,500 and a national identity card. To access the service, individuals must visit the closest Huduma Center.

The government’s opinions coincide with the state’s historic journey toward digitizing services, a calculated move aimed at facilitating Kenyans’ easier access to government services.
