Alex Mwakideu, a radio host, has refuted claims that he has received money to utilize his platform to promote Adani on social media and radio. On Monday morning, Mwakideu refuted the accusations on social media.
Is Adani being promoted by Alex Mwakideu? Nelson Amenya, a whistleblower about the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA)-Adani agreement, made the charges and urged Kenyans to look through his social media accounts and tune into his show on Radio 47 in order to find any proof that would support them.
“I heard that the person who uploaded this is named Nelson Amenya, but I’m not sure who he is. Look through all of my social media accounts, tune in to Radio 47, and if you come across any instances where Alex Mwakideu has supported Adani, I will give you KSh 1 million in cash. Take your time; this offer is not timely. “Best wishes,” wrote Mwakideu.
Amenya said on X that the radio host and other influencers had been bribed by a Kenyan marketing firm in a concerted effort to damage Adani’s reputation. Alex Mwakideu has been compensated by the marketing firm to promote Adani on the radio. It sounds as like he is defending Adani when you hear him talk.
