If you are a frequent social media user, then you surely must have heard about Carey Priscilla and her fiancé Benito Muriu.
The two are popular YouTubers in the country, even though the former is a make up artist and a model by profession, while the latter is a phone technician.

They are infact among the famous couples on social media, and they have always wowed netizens with their enviable couple goals via cute photos and videos that they shoot together.
This was also seen recently when Carey Priscilla and Benito Muriu took to their Instagram accounts, and again flaunted their couple goals to their fans.
The two infact shared a short video, where they disclosed that the latter usually gives the former some monthly allowance, as his fiancée and mother of his kids.
In the video the couple is even heard having a chat while together in a car, and Benito Muriu was asking Carey Priscilla why she failed to take care of his beards like she normally does.
In her response, the make up artist said jokingly that she failed to do so because the phone technician had not yet paid her the allowance as he should.
The mother of two even said that she would not do some wifey duties to him until he pays her.
“Sijapata my monthly allowances so there are some services you will not be able to enjoy”
“Kuna some services you might not be able to enjoy until unilipe” she said.
In his defence however, Benito Muriu said that he failed to pay her due to the bad state to the economy.

Even though in the video Carey Priscilla never disclosed how much money she gets from her lover Benito Muriu as monthly allowance, she gushed over it saying:
“Hakuna kitu tamu kama monthly allowance from hubby”.
The disclosure however comes just over a year after a High Court in Kenya declared that being a housewife was a full-time payable job.
Therefore husbands were to give their wives some money monthly. This ruling happened in September 2021.
Aside from Benito Muriu, one other public figure who gives his wife a monthly allowance is controversial man of God Man Kush.
The Home of Glory Joy Ministry overseer gives his wife about Kshs 30,000 a month.
