Infotrak has today, Tuesday, 12th September 2023 released a list of the best and worst performing Cabinet secretaries in Ruto’s government.

Rebecca Miano, the Cabinet Secretary for the East African Community (EAC), has been rated as the poorest performer among Cabinet Secretaries The report, assessed the performance of CSs during their first ten months in office, categorizing those with scores below one percent as underperformers.

Zachary Njeru (Lands) and Florence Bore (Labour) fared slightly better than Miano, receiving a rating of 0.2 percent. Energy CS Davis Chirchir and Cooperatives CS Simon Chelugui both earned a score of 0.3 percent.

Njuguna Ndung’u (Treasury) and Salim Mvurya (Mining) tied with a rating of 0.4 percent. Soipan Tuya (Environment), Aisha Jumwa (Public Service), and Peninah Malonza (Tourism) all achieved a one percent rating.

In stark contrast, Interior CS Kithure Kindiki was recognized as the top-performing CS with a remarkable 33 percent rating, followed by Education CS Ezekiel Machogu at 13 percent.

Susan Nakhumicha (Health) secured third place with an eight percent rating, while Kipchumba Murkomen and Mithika Linturi each received a six percent rating. Sports CS Ababu Namwamba garnered four percent, while the ICT sector (Eliud Owalo) and Foreign Affairs (Alfred Mutua) were both rated at three percent.
