They had one of the most beautiful weddings of the 1990s. Upheaval is a hallmark of Rachel Njeri’s music. When she was a little girl in the early 1990s, she started her music career. Because she was brought up in a Christian family, she had self-confidence.

Rachael struggled to maintain her resolve because of the numerous issues in her marriage. Initially a devoted Christian, her ex-husband gradually became an alcoholic. Rachael tells that he was occasionally violent, thoughtless, and irresponsible.

After they got married, Rachel said that she never saw her husband drinking. He eventually became addicted after months of their marriage. The spouse, according to Rachel, could start yelling at her when he got home late at night.

She said he started using addictive substances in addition to drinking. He stopped going to church and frequently slept outside for days without going home. He started selling household items as the drugs started to wear him down.

All of our electrical appliances, including the television, were sold by him.

Along with selling household products, he started having extramarital affairs. He could date wealthy women who owned great automobiles and had plenty of savings to pay for his drug and booze expenses. While Rachel was at work, the woman could come to her house and pick up her husband, according to Rachel. It was done to make her angry.

She claimed that he had their pictures on his phone, whereby he could show her and tell her how awful she was compared to women. As a result, Rachel’s self-esteem was damaged and she detested her appearance. She alleged that once he started striking her, things got worse.

Thankfully, she decided to leave Kenya for the United States in pursuit of a better life. The quality of her life increased after she moved to the UK. After leaving her husband behind in Kenya, she moved with the kids.

“Even though things were going well for me in the UK, I couldn’t help but miss my husband,” Rachel says. She sobbed all night long and all day long. The worst possible scenario for her was getting divorced. Frequently, she could call him and enquire about his life in Kenya from his pals. She later moved on after one year of denial.

Rachel went back to her regular schedule. She is resigned to becoming divorced and has no regrets. She also sends her hubby her best wishes on their recent wedding.

Rachael has emerged as a role model for many people. Sadly, she has never been open about her romantic relationships. In an interview with Metha ya Kagoni, she stated that she was happy with the life she was living with her two adult children.

In addition to singing gospel music, Rachael works as a nurse and a businesswoman in the UK.

There are several crucial lessons to be discovered.

1. Divorce should be taken into consideration if a marriage isn’t working.

2. Mourning and letting go are healthier than maintaining denial.

3. Speak with a divorce counselor for advice.

4. Never demonstrate to your children how you fight or mistreat one another. This could affect their psychological well-being.

5. Keep going because, at the end of the day, you must achieve your objectives.

6. The best thing you can do for your partner is to wish him or her luck in their future endeavors.

7. Never hold a grudge against a former partner.
