Eric Maigo, a prominent figure as the Finance Director at Nairobi Hospital, now rests in the memory of all who knew him. The tragic circumstances of his untimely demise continue to unveil perplexing details, adding layers of complexity to the case. Contrary to initial beliefs, the mother of the teenage suspect firmly stated her daughter never owned a phone, leaving the community puzzled about how the young girl found herself in Maigo’s home that fatal night.
During an extensive interrogation by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the suspect affirmed that she had never encountered Maigo prior to that tragic night. Their meeting, she stressed, was solely for a meal, an unforeseen turn of events that fateful evening. A recent investigative report by NTV on September 27 shed light on the suspect’s presence at her mother’s residence past 11 pm on the night in question. While Eric Maigo was seen socializing with three women at a club along Ngong Road around 10 pm that night, surveillance cameras captured the suspect’s presence five blocks away from the alleged murder site.
Contrary to initial assumptions, the house from which the suspect was seen jumping was not Eric Maigo’s residence, although it was within the same estate. This inconsistency has left the public grappling with the intricacies of the case and contemplating potential motives behind this unfortunate incident.
