Celebrated Kenyan actress Bridget Shighadi is currently pissed off with some of her social media followers, and she is not even hiding it!
This is because they have unfortunately been body-shaming her whenever she shares her photos online in the past few days or so.
Taking to her Instagram account in a latest post, the sassy former ‘Zora’ series actress infact disclosed that they have been trolling her for being too skinny.
Bridget Shighadi further revealed that they have been questioning why she has reduced in size as compared to how she looked awhile back.
According to her, most of the trolls have been concluding that she is getting skinnier because she maybe has a health problem or something.
Responding to them however Bridget Shighadi disclosed that she has gotten skinnier by choice, and this is because she does not love having a big body.
“Wakenya bwana ama sijui ni waafrika, tukona ushamba flani vile, mtu akikonda lazima iwe ni shida? Hujui kama ni uamuzi wa mtu ama ni kitu gani mtu anapitia?
Nani alisema kunona ndo kupendeza? Wengine wetu twapenda hii mili midogo yani miili ya kizungu, tukizeeka bado tumekauka tu hivi, hayo mafuta yenyu nawaachia nyinyi na ushamba wenyu!” Bridget Shighadi wrote.
In another post, the mother of one went a step further to explain to the trolls that she has always been skinny, and therefore they should not body shame her for it.
Bridget Shighadi infact disclosed that her body just got a little bigger after 2018, because of how she was pregnant then with her daughter Dua Mutuma.
However before the pregnancy and after the baby was born she chose to become reduce the weight.
The sassy actress therefore advised the trolls not to judge her without knowing her personally.
“Nimekuwa mwembamba my whole life, nimeongeza tu mwili after 2018 after kuoata mtoto then nikakonda tena.
So kama hunijui since then, huna right yakuja kwa page yangu kuongea upuzi!” Bridget Shighadi wrote.
Today however is not the first time that the mother of one has taken online to address people who troll her because of her weight.
A few years back Bridget Shighadi also did the same after they body-shamed her, and at the time she wondered why humans are never satisfied no matter what someone does.
“Ila binadamu bwana mna nini? Mtu akikonda shida, akinona shida” she wrote on her stories.
