Ezra Chiloba was the Director General of Communication Authority of Kenya (CAK). He was suspended recently after he was alleged to have been involved himself in corruption.

According to the latest information by a reputable source, Chiloba is said to purchased a house and land of seven acres beyond the allowed one acre limit under the Civil Servants Housing Scheme requirement.

It is also alleged that Chiloba didn’t follow the right procedure on matters concerning loan application process.

The Ethics and Ant-Corruption Commission EACC is investigating the matter keenly. And if Chiloba will be found guilty of abuse of office and conflict of interest then action should be taken.

It should remembered that Chiloba was suspended on September 18 in a short memo that was signed by the authority’s board chairperson Mary Wambua.
