The mother of Jeff Mwathi has told off Mugithi singer Lawrence Njuguna alias DJ Fatxo over his recent radio interview in which he detailed her son’s last moments before death. The DJ who was widely mentioned in Jeff’s death, which occurred in his house in Kasarani on February 22, appeared on a radio interview two days ago where he gave his side of the story.Speaking on her TikTok page, Ann Wacuka told off the singer for his media interview, saying it was raising more questions than answers to her son’s death.During the interview on Radio Jambo, Mwathi’s mother also confronted the DJ during a telephone call.
DJ Fatxo also insisted that he was not at home when his friend Jeff Mwathi met his death about three months ago.
In a special interview with radio jambo’s presenter Massawe, DJ Fatxo claimed that he had passed out in his car after drinking several drinks with his colleagues the night before.
The 27-year-old singer said that the guard of their gate was the one who informed him about a person who had thrown himself on the ground when he arrived home around three o’clock in the morning Jeff died.
He said that due to the fear, he did not look at the body directly.
He said at that time the police were waiting to take the body of the deceased and take it to the mortuary.
After that, looking at the body, he said he headed to his house, wondering why someone would take that step.
Netizens react:
đ”đ đđđđ: We all understand the loss, agony, pain and bitterness for the loss but it’s time to move on. In death all we can do is cherish. All these rhetorics of Jeff getting banged by men and killed are boring now. We typed everywhere JUSTICE. It’s all we could do. Move on Mum. Let the “MĂșnĂși” continue singing his mugithi songs.
