Kenyans on Twitter are over the moon after celebrated American actress and producer Viola Davis stepped out wearing a necklace from Kenya.
Through social media, the 56 year old actress who is the first African-American to achieve the Triple Crown of Acting, tweeted that she was out on a date proudly wearing the golden leafy necklace.
“Date night with my J! Necklace from Kenya! ??????????,” she tweeted.
According to online sources, a leaf necklace may be a symbol of growth and fertility meaning that one’s personal growth is what matters the most.
