Governor James Orengo’s strong words, “A president that cannot stop hunger is useless,” have highlighted the serious issue of global hunger.
Despite advances in technology and increased access to food, millions of people around the world suffer from extreme hunger. This has not only negative health and economic impacts, but it can also spark civil unrest and violence. It is the responsibility of governments and leaders around the world to work together to combat hunger and poverty, which is why it is so concerning that hunger has not yet been solved.
With all of the resources available, it is unacceptable for hunger to remain an issue. If a president is unable to effectively combat hunger, then it is obvious that they are not up to the challenge. This is why it is essential that leaders are committed to eradicating hunger and doing whatever it takes to make sure that every person has access to the food they need.
