Ben Githae a popular Kikuyu gospel musician recently made some revelations which left Kenyans talking, during an interview on Radio 47’s ‘Hii si Ya Kusahau’ show. He shared two memorable incidents that had a profound impact on his approach to relationships.
The first incident took place when he was a young boy living in Gatundu, where he was eager to explore the world of dating. He had made plans to spend Christmas with a young lady from a wealthy family. Upon reaching their meeting spot, he discovered she was taken away by another suitor. Heartbroken and dejected, Ben returned home concealing his disappointment from his concerned mother. This experience left him cautious and skeptical about relationships, something which he remembers to date.
In another event, Ben remembered another incident where a vengeful woman trapped him in her house for two days. This happened after he had started his gospel music career and relocated to Nairobi. The woman soaked all his clothes in water, refusing to let him leave the house. Despite being married at the time, Ben found himself in a dilemma upon returning home after his unexpected ordeal.
These incidents have left a lasting impact on Ben Githae life, where he said they shaped his perspective on relationships and instilling a sense of caution in his interactions with others. Despite facing challenges and unexpected hurdles he continues to remain steadfast in his gospel music career and personal life. His candid sharing of these experiences sheds light on the complexities of human relationships and the unforeseen challenges that life may throw our way. What is your view on this?
