Lately, cases of sodomy have been on an upward trend in many parts of the Republic of Kenya.
The most recent incident happened in the Gitwe area of Kirinyaga County.
Credible reports reaching our news desk from Inooro FM through their Facebook page reveal that a 29-year-old junior secondary teacher was allegedly attacked and sodomised by a principal from that region.
Reports indicate that the junior teacher was heard screaming by neighbours before they responded to the distress call, only to find him in deep pain.
The junior teacher was quickly rushed to Kirinyaga County Referral Hospital to get medical treatment after the brutal attack.
The police arrived and recorded the scene and promised to investigate the matter and offer justice to the victim of the brutal assault.
While speaking to the media, the KUPPET representatives from Kirinyaga County accused the perpetrator and promised to take legal action and offer justice to the junior teacher.
We hope the victim will be accorded justice and the perpetrator will face the law.
