Lawyer Wahome Thuku has come out to to react after deputy president Kithure Kindiki met with musicians from the Mt Kenya region.
In his recent tour in the region Kindiki met with several musicians and gifted them cash a thing that raised concerns among Kenyans.
Many people from the region criticized the musicians as they said they were dining with the government that has oppressed them.
Wahome is among those who came out to criticize the musicians after their meeting with Kindiki.
He said anyone that associates with Kindiki is not his friend and from today onwards he will see him/her as an opponent.
He also said any artist that is associated with the government will have a hard time convincing him to take anything they are promoting.
“I as WT have a political side. And that side is not Kithure Kindiki’s side. If you associate with Kindiki you are not on my side. If you are an artist on Kindiki’s side, I take it that you are not on my side. So if you are an artist who is a brand ambassador of a product, I have to think twice about what you are promoting to me.” Wahome said.
