Actress Joy Ohon, who first gained popularity on the Machachari TV series, discussed her plans for marriage, family, and profession during her appearance on the Oga Obinna show.
Joy disclosed that she had previously dated Jeremy Kiuna, a relationship that lasted for three years before ending.
Joy reflected on the experience and said that although the relationship played a big role in her life, she has now moved on and is in a different stage.
Joy revealed that she is only 21 years old, in a committed relationship, and has already started planning for the future.
She said she is excited to begin this new chapter and plans to get married within the next year. Joy claims that the traditional ceremony will be performed in her village of Nambale, while her white wedding will be hosted in the seaside town of Diani, which is well-known for its stunning beaches.
But throughout the interview, she mentioned that she didn’t understand Swahili. Many people found Joy’s reaction to the Swahili proverb that the host, Obinna, posed amusing.
He questioned, “Aliye na macho haambiwi nini?” As an alternative to tazama, Joy replied, “Kuona.” Obinna was surprised by her response and repeated the proverb. She asserted, “I did not do Swahili,” in defense.
