Authorities have made a significant breakthrough in the investigation of the high-profile killing of an unnamed victim, reportedly tracked moments before his death. The suspect believed to be behind the attack was captured on multiple surveillance cameras near the area where the victim, identified as Were, made financial transactions shortly after leaving the Parliament Building.

According to investigators, Were had departed from the parliamentary premises in the late afternoon and made a stop at a financial institution, possibly to withdraw or deposit funds. It was at this point that CCTV footage from nearby businesses and public surveillance systems recorded the movements of a suspicious individual. The man, whose face was partially obscured by a hood, appeared to loiter near the location, maintaining visual contact with Were as he conducted his transaction.

Security footage showed the suspect trailing Were shortly after the transaction. Investigators used enhanced imaging and footage triangulated from several cameras along the route to piece together the suspect’s path. Forensic analysts are currently working on refining the visuals to better identify distinguishing features and possibly extract biometric data. Early indicators suggest that the suspect may have had prior knowledge of Were’s movements, raising concerns of premeditation.

Eyewitnesses in the area described a tense atmosphere moments before the incident. One shopkeeper recalled seeing a man pacing near the ATM, nervously checking his surroundings. Shortly after Were’s departure, the same individual was seen hurrying in the same direction, disappearing from view moments before the crime was reported.

Law enforcement officials have confirmed that the individual seen in the footage is now the prime suspect and a manhunt is underway. They are urging the public to report any information that could lead to his arrest. Meanwhile, the motive behind the killing remains under investigation, with authorities not ruling out political or financial angles.

The release of the footage has generated public interest, and pressure is mounting on the police to bring the suspect to justice.
